Get ready to roll and enjoy some seriously fun roller skating with the Del Monte Skating Club! This successful local sports club practices weekly at the Del Monte Gardens Skating Arena. Come join in the fun every Sunday, unless otherwise noted, at 12:15 PM. Club members have the opportunity to take all sorts of skating classes that are offered.
In order to become a member, you must first take a group skating class to qualify for membership. These are offered Saturdays from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. The fee is $24 and includes use of quad skates and a public skating lesson which follows the lessons. Call the rink at 375-3202 or just show up on any Saturday and sign up to start that day. After two proficiency tests, you're on your way to an invitation for club membership!
The Del Monte Skating Club regularly sends its members to the National meet, which consists of just 27 coveted spots for competitive skaters - pretty impressive!
