SPCA Food Bank

The SPCA Pet Food Bank for Monterey County helps pet owners who are faced with giving up their pets because they can no longer afford to feed them. The SPCA Pet Food Bank is supported by cash donations and donations of unexpired, unopened pet food.

Many needy families in our community are pet owners who love their pets but are having a difficult time providing food for both their families and their pets. This new program reduces the risk of families being forced to give up their beloved pets because they can’t afford to feed them. Individuals experiencing economic difficulties, especially those with no close family, are particularly in need of their pet’s unconditional love and companionship.

To Donate: Unopened and unexpired pet food may be brought to The SPCA, located at 1002 Highway 68, directly across from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The SPCA is open to receive pet food seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Donations may also be brought to The SPCA Benefit Shop. Please contact The SPCA if you are a business owner who would like to donate a large amount of food. You can also donate online to support the SPCA Pet Food Bank for Monterey County.
